| EVENT: Champions for Charity® Shopping Benefit | ||||||

EVENT DESCRIPTION: MOMMAS House will participate in Americana Manhasset’s Champions for Charity®. From Thursday, December 1 through Saturday, December 3, over 70 participating Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza stores will donate 25% of designated pre-tax purchases to the participating organization(s) of the customer’s choice. Purchases are not automatically eligible; you must register for a complimentary CHAMPION CARD, designate MOMMAS House as your charity of choice, and present your CHAMPION CARD when making purchases during the event. | EVENT DESCRIPTION: Join us once again as the North Shore Pops will provide an evening of festive Holiday music in the Parish Hall of St Rocco's Church located at 18 Third Street, Glen Cove, NY 11542. A free will offering to MOMMAS House is requested. | ||||||
| EVENT: Holiday Reunion Party for Prior Residents | ||||||

EVENT DESCRIPTION: Each year we invite all Prior Residents of MOMMAS House and their children to join us for a festive reunion party. The party will again take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 2333 Bellmore Avenue, Bellmore, New York. Those who wish to attend MUST RSVP to MOMMAS House office at 516-781-8637 or info@mommashouse.org. We need to know the names and ages of all your children so we can provide gifts for those attending. If you do not RSVP in a timely manner we may not be able to provide gifts for you & your children. |

| EVENT: MOMMAS House 25th Anniversary Celebration | ||||||

EVENT DESCRIPTION: MOMMAS House recently celebrated it's 25th Anniversary with a spectacular event! Many thanks to our committee of volunteers who made this event a tremendous success, raising over $120,000 in profits for MOMMAS House programs. Over 250 guests dined on the delicious the creations by Chef Bryan Naylor of Birch Hill Market, we highly recommend them for fantastic catering! We danced and sang along to tunes played by the very talented Jim Roberti Band. Those in attendance were able to participate in raffles of over 50 prizes made up of items geneorusly donated by many local businesses. | EVENT: MOTHER OF THE YEAR CONTEST | ||||||

EVENT DESCRIPTION: The Mother of the Year Contest has ended. We received over 75 nominations of some truly outstanding mothers! The judges had a very tough job in making their decision. In the end they picked a top three winners and two honorable mentions! All proceeds of this event will go to support the programs of MOMMAS House Mother-Child Residences |

| EVENT: CAPITAL FUND CAMPAIGN | ||||||

EVENT DESCRIPTION:At this time, we are trying to raise enough money to purchase a house. It is a huge undertaking for us but it is imperative as our waiting list is long. It is so difficult to say to a homeless mother that there is no room for her and her child.
This past year has been one of continued growth but with this comes greater demand for our services. Our entire operating budget is a little over $500,000, which is very lean. To raise between $500,000 to $600,000 to buy a house is very intimidating and we can only hope to reach those who can help us. Your contribution would enable us to provide a safe, clean, supportive environment for these young families to begin their lives together. We are halfway “home”! Please consider investing in the future of MOMMAS House and the women and babies we serve. We would be most grateful if you would consider hosting a reception at your home/business or anywhere feasible to accommodate an intimate gathering. Light refreshments only, as the main purpose is to have a platform on which to explain what MOMMAS House is and what it hopes to accomplish. There will be no high pressure tactics used, only the distribution of information and ways one might help if so inclined. |

DESCRIPTION: Memorial and Living Tribute gift/donation cards are available. When you make a donation in memory of a deceased loved one, an In Memory card will be sent to the surviving family member(s) of your choice.
